Hm…I’m stumped on how to make it more Latin. If you try cayenne, let me know! Sometimes I love having spice in my dessert.

Perfect! I was just thinking of some way to combine apples and caramel in a baked good. I am going to make this for Thanksgiving. I am trying to think of a way to make it more Latin–I guess you could add a pinch of cayenne, or liquor? Any ideas?
